News website where anyone can write, post, and rate articles

I just discovered this website: http://www.allvoices.com. It's a place where anyone can write and submit news articles and rate other articles submitted.

Several months ago I thought of the idea of a collaborative journalism website based on user-supplied content and a user rating system, and actually wanted to try to start something like this, so I'm very glad to see it's already been done! -- one less big project for me to do!

I wonder how good the quality of the top rated articles is? Guess I'll have to read the site regularly and find out.
